There's nothing quite like a Lodge cast iron griddle or grill pan for frying eggs or bacon, or searing in the juices on your hamburgers and steaks. We use our flat round griddle for pancakes and warm soft torillas on it as well.
Our square gill pan has seared many a pork chop, rib eye, and salmon filet. Our two burner griddle stays on our stove, and that's where breakfact is prepared, including sausage, bacon, country ham, and a whole bunch of farm fresh brown double-yolked eggs.
There are a few new additions to the Lodge line of cast iron griddles and grill pans. Choose from a 12" square griddle or grill pan, that has an ergonomically correct main handle, and an assist handle for better balance. And if you just believe that a round pan works better on a round stove eye,
the Lodge Pro-Logic line offers you that choice.
An oval fajita pan is the traditional cookware for Mexican and Cajun cuisine, including fajitas and blackened redfish. The right combination of salt, pepper, and herbal seasoning is important here and a cast iron pan is the only cookware suitable for the high heat you'll need to prepare these spicy dishes.
Other griddle specialties can include your favorite omelette (no sides for your spatula to run into), flapjacks and hoe cakes, even use it to bake those biscuits in the oven.
